Some themes may include conflict, politics, or emotional intensity consistent with Star Trek storytelling.

4. Consent-First Roleplay
You must always ask or do a joint post before:

Controlling another player’s character
Injuring, killing, or significantly affecting them
Introducing major shared plot changes

No godmodding. No assumptions. Collaboration first.

5. Stay In Character (IC) vs Out of Character (OOC)

Keep IC and OOC clearly separated
Use appropriate tags or channels when needed
Do not use OOC knowledge to influence IC actions (no metagaming)

6. Collaborative Storytelling > Winning
This is not about “winning” scenes.
It’s about telling a compelling, shared story. Let others shine.

7. Respect Character Diversity
Different cultures, species, and perspectives are part of Star Trek.
Engage with curiosity, not control.

8. Power Balance
Avoid overpowered or unrealistic abilities.
If your character has exceptional traits, they must come with limitations and be approved.

10. Clear Communication

11. Content Boundaries
Sensitive topics (trauma, torture, etc.) require:

Prior discussion
Clear consent
Fade-to-black when appropriate

12. No Drama Policy
Handle issues privately or through staff.
Public arguments disrupt the simulation and will be addressed.
