| Personal History | Born in San Francisco. Parents Julia and Simon, worked at the Starfleet Ships Yards. They were both starship designers. From birth, Jake was big for his age, and his was intelligent. His IQ rating was high. Jake skipped many grades during his school days. He enrolled in college at the age of 14. He graduated 4 years later and got his degree in spacial mechanics. He was accepted to Starfleet Academy and quickly completed his studies in three years, and stayed his senior year to get his Master's. He studied Command, Ships Operations and Security/Tactical. |

Service History
| Service Record | His first posting, age 20, was on the USS Dakota, where he served in the Security Section as an Ensign. Ensign Spenser received numerous citations for bravery. In his third year on the Dakota, he was promoted to Lieutenant and assigned as Assistant Chief Security/Tactical Officer. His next assignment , age 24, was on the USS Potemkin, rank of Lieutenant, and assigned as Acting Security/Tactical Officer. On the Potemkin, he also served as the Third Officer. At the age of 27, he was promoted to Lieutenant Commander. While on an away mission with the senior staff, Spenser saved the lives of the away team consisting on the Captain, the First Officer Commander and the ship's chief medical officer. For his actions, he was promoted to Full Commander and at the age of 28, was transferred to Starbase Concordia as the station's Security Chief and Tactical Officer. |
