Description

Located along the volatile frontier between Federation territory and several politically fragile powers, Concordia was designed to be a diplomatic stabilization hub, logistics relay, and early-warning bastion. Its very existence represented hope — and a quiet assertion of Federation resolve.

Mission Summary

Chapter 1

Only hours after assuming operational command, Commander Elia Voss and her senior staff receive an encrypted subspace burst.
It is fragmented. Ancient. Not Starfleet. Not contemporary. The signal originates from deep within the Typhon Expanse, a region long plagued by sensor anomalies, temporal distortions, and vanished ships. What makes the signal chilling is the final recognizable phrase:

“—this is the USS Gallant. We are under attack—”

The USS Gallant was lost forty-three years earlier.

Chapter 2

Before Concordia can dispatch assistance, a second development unfolds. A Cardassian reconnaissance cruiser arrives at the edge of sensor range, claiming jurisdictional concern over Federation activity in the Expanse. Simultaneously, long-range scans detect Tzenkethi patrol formations altering course toward the same coordinates. Within minutes, Concordia finds itself at the center of a potential three-power confrontation. The station’s first mission is no longer simply rescue.

It is containment. Diplomacy. And survival.

Chapter 3

With Concordia not yet fully operational, the CO must make a difficult decision. A single garrisoned vessel — a Nova-variant reconnaissance ship — is dispatched into the anomaly field to locate the source of the signal.

The station activates:

*- Emergency sensor augmentation arrays

*- Tactical readiness protocols

*- Civilian evacuation corridors

*- Diplomatic communication channels

Meanwhile, Engineering reports unexpected power fluctuations. Something in the Expanse is interacting with Concordia itself.

Chapter 4

As the deployed starship penetrates the anomaly layer, reality begins to behave unpredictably. Ghost contacts appear on sensors. Starfleet transponder codes from multiple lost vessels across decades flicker in and out of existence. Then visual confirmation arrives. The USS Gallant is there. But it is not intact.

It exists in phased temporal fragments — pieces of the ship appearing across different points in space simultaneously, trapped in a catastrophic subspace shear event. Worse still… Something else is moving among the fragments. Something intelligent. Something that has learned to hunt within temporal instability.
